Reason For Revision
These changes are intended provide Scheduling Coordinators with a more uniform process by which to register their high priority wheels in our systems. The guidance itself closely follows the Tariff language that was implemented as part of the Summer 2021 Readiness efforts and provides more structured process steps for SCs to follow to ensure timely and efficient review

Initial Comments
In the Priority Wheeling Through Registration Process section, item #2 references the need for firm transmission to support the wheel from HE7-22, Monday through Saturday excluding NERC holidays.  SRP recommends that the wheel be supported by firm transmission for the duration of the contract, for all applicable days and hours.

Hello, thank you for your comment. The BPM language is reflective of the tariff provisions for priority wheeling. As previously discussed in the stakeholder process and mentioned in the CAISO’s recent tariff amendment filing, a firm transmission contract that includes Sundays and/or holidays, in addition to Monday through Saturday, meets the eligibility requirements for a priority wheeling through. In other words, having a firm transmission contract that covers more days or hours than what is stipulated in the tariff provisions will not render the applicant ineligible to apply for a priority wheeling through designation.  -- Katie Wikler
