Reason For Revision
For resources that are physically located away from its correspondign POR, describe the impact the different loss components, and thus LMP marginal cost of losses, between those two locations has on energy prices. Furthermore, note that the market model uses the bids at the physical location when determining which resource is economical to dispatch.

Impact of Losses on POR vs Pnode energy prices_CAISO response_20210603.docx    
The CAISO recently published a technical CIDI knowledge article on Dispatch and Curtailment of Variable Energy Resources (VERs). The CAISO’s 4/23/21 Customer Service Notice for this article noted, “We plan on incorporating the language of this article in the BPM for Market Operations via a BPM Proposed Revision Request (PRR), but we wanted to make the article available as soon as possible, so a CIDI Knowledge Article was the fastest route.”  PG&E supports CAISO clarification of VER dispatch and curtailment in the Market Operations BPM.  PG&E requests clarification of how the proposed BPM language changes relate to the CAISO’s VER knowledge article.
