What if a Market Participant decides to withdraw a PRR before the final decision is reached?
The PRR submitter/owner must notify the ISO by selecting Withdraw PRR on the BPM Change Management website. The ISO will then confirm the request and notify stakeholders by posting an announcement. Stakeholders then have 5 business days to "request" ownership of the withdrawn PRR.
When are the PRR changes effective?
A BPM change can be effective as of the end of the change management process or on a date estimated in the ISO recommendation and set forth in the ISO final decision. In the event of an emergency change, the change can be effective immediately. However, the PRR will complete the change management process, even if implemented sooner.
How is the process affected when a PRR is put on hold or delayed?
If the ISO Change Manager defers action or otherwise delays a PRR during the change management process, an announcement will be posted with a reason and the submitter will receive notification. When ready, the process will resume at the beginning of the status during which action was deferred or delayed. The public will also be notified of changes in time frame via the website, market notices, and RSS feeds as applicable.
What if a Market Participant just needs clarification on a BPM?
Questions or requests for clarification on a BPM can be directed to the BPM Change Management Coordinator by selecting the Contact BPM Coordinator button on the BPM Change Management website.
On the ISO BPM website, what is the RSS feed?
An RSS (abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content. A user may subscribe to an RSS feed for an individual PRR to receive a summary of the events which have been posted for that PRR. A user may also subscribe to RSS feeds on BPMs which will provide updates or events on all active PRRs linked to that BPM.
Can some PRR’s be categorized as Exempt from the process?
All PRR's must adhere to the process, including PRRs initiated by the ISO.
If a PRR impacts multiple BPMs, how does the process work?
If it is determined that a PRR may affect BPMs in addition to the one the PRR was submitted for; the ISO will create a PRR for each BPM affected. In this way, the PRRs can be individually managed in the context of the related BPM.
