Recommendation Comments
APS would like to recommend two general changes to this PRR. 1) Address the clarity of priorities of RUC schedules for exports in relation to CAISO load. This was the original reason the item was placed on hold and the initial commenters request clarification be added on priority of exports. Unless captured elsewhere the addition of the outcomes of the Summer Readiness 2021 initiative should be included for clarity. 2) APS also requests transparency of RUC awards when the sink BA is not the scheduling coordinator receiving the RUC award. Today, we are seeing requests from the CAISO BA through RC West to have sink BA's review e-tags vs. RUC awards but this is not possible if another entity is SC receiving the RUC Award. APS would like to request that the CAISO notify sink BA's of RUC awards that are e-tagged without an award since the sink BA's are unable to do so themselves. Thank You.

CAISO: Answer to question 1:
The CAISO has implemented two main BPM language changes; one specific to clarify the add clarity to the language related to penalty prices. The PRR are 1360 and 1345.

CAISO: Answer to question 2:
The request is beyond the scope of a BPM language clarification  since it is about providing additional data. Given the nature of the data request, the participant is encouraged to bring this request to the ongoing initiative regarding forward scheduling. There is an area under discussion about transparency and this specific request fits  in that discussion.
