This type of resource will be exempted from Wheeling Access Charge (WAC). Exemption data needs to be created to make this work. The exemption data is used by the PC Wheel Export Quantity, and eventually reflected in CC382 as a charge exemption.

Previously this was not created for market sim. Please see updated data in Map Stage early next week of Oct. 7th.

Attached MS doc file is CDWR requests for CAISO to clarify how transmission charge exemption being provided to pump-storage hydro units when pumping (by order of CAISO complying with FERC Order 841) will be applied to CC382 (High Voltage Wheeling Allocation “WAC”) vs. CC372 (High Voltage Access Charge Allocation “TAC”.)
